something weird going on with my paypal/ebay, on about half my sales its automatically refunding half of my buyers straight away. Sale isn't showing anywhere in ebay other than on the product page its showing I've sold 10 but then when I click it I've only sold 5 (minus the ones getting instantly refunded), happening on atleast 3 accounts but not all of them, anyone else got this?

youd think they'd get some IT guys who actually know what theyre doing. Cost me loads of cash as usual

Working while stoned is never a good idea. Too easy to make mistakes. must be extremly detail oriented when operating a stealth account.

they better fix this too.. nice for them not even putting a notice up about it... leave us all to have negative impacts on our ebay accounts :rip:

I just got that problem too. Tripped me out working out what happened.

Only a 99p item so I just posted it coz it done my head in working out if got paid.

I only just checked the paypal, the refunds are all instant yeah? Others should be fine to send?

you have to check your 'all sales' on ebay to notice the refunds

oh mines not showing anything in ebay, only seems to be legit sales there. Just in paypal I have 10+ other reversals. Won't send anything tomorrow anyway

I had a refunded payment showing in ebay, then when you go to paypal it shows refunded but then after about 10 other payments the refunded payment is showing as paid again.

I know for a fact you cannot pay for a refunded order as checkout has already completed even though its refunded.

Also I received no email from either eb or pp to say a refund has been sent etc. :( - terrible service

After about a month into full out stealth I started working while smoking weed.

Haha....

Only after I decided to NOT smoke during work did I realize all the mistakes I made. In my IP log some IPs were entered like "19..168.23.354" and that extra dot made me reuse bad IPs, accidentally not saving stuff... Etc

If your listing on an external site or just doing background work then I can see taking a little edge off but NEVER while I'm actually logging into my accounts.

lol I'm not detail orientated, i don't do any of that tracking Ip stuff, 1 year still going strong.

I've not had any of this on the accounts I've checked today, is it all good now?

Unless you have static IP you should allways be tracking IPs.

What is this static IP ? How do I find if mine is static or not and does this mean static IP can be used to create stealth ??? Little confused on the IP tracking etc

Static basically means that the IP does NOT change and Dynamic IP addressing assigns a different IP address each time someone signs into their computer.

If you for instance do phone tethering its very bad stealth if you don't track your IP's.

It all depends on your location weather or not your getting alot of repeats if your tethering BUT the problem is if you haven't tracked for over a year and its dynamic you'll almost enviably use the same IP again unless you change hotspots or phone provider.

If its a static then...what I just said doesn't apply. :)

Plus sometimes you can only know if your doing stealth right once an account goes down and the others still work fine.

Thats the true test because sometimes if all is okay, even if linked nothing sometimes happens....only when an account goes down can be when ALL get suspended as opposed to just the one account.
