sending large amount of paypal as gift?

I would like to know if it's safe to send a $300-$500 payment to someone as a gift safe?

Will I get my account limited if I send too much money at once? My account is verified and from 2011. Please help thanks.

Doing it occasionally shouldn't cause any issues, however the more money you send the higher the risk. Maybe try two &250.00 transactions. I have someone paying me rent every month $600.00, through PayPal for 2 years & neither of us have had any issues, however these paypal's are in both of our real names. So if a problem did arise we could both fix it.

Its risky but your account is old so I'd go for it.

Have you been using your account frequently lately? If yes, then 90% it will not give you any trouble.

Anyway, sending gifts regularly is not so good, as discussed a lot in forums. There are several ways of cashing out, why to use such a risky one?
