PrePaid debit card
 

I am looking for a prepaid debit card. Not primarily for paypal just for everyday use. I am interested in amex serve. I signed up but now for them to send my card they are asking for pics of my id and ssn card. I was wondering If I should go through and send it to them. I will mostly be loading my card via mg or serve c2c transfer. Would the irs tax me on that or?

Stay away from things that ask for ssn.......
What do you need a debit card for exactly? Have you tried entropay

ALL prepaid debit cards require SS because they are bank accounts. It is a law based on the patriot act.

However, a great trick that works for some cards (I had one that I used for ALL my stealth accounts until Amazon got it)... get one that requires a social and then when you call to activate, tell them it was a gift to you and they didn't know it was supposed to be tied to an actual social. Ask them if you can activate it as a one time use card.

Then, you get the advantage of a NUMBER/BIN of a real Debit Card, but the advantage of a non registered card (stealth). I used this for 2 different cards but both of them are now blocked on Amazon - not sure how many others may work, this whole thing is frustrating atm.

Vanilla Visa gift card NOT My Vanilla Debit card doesn't require SS# and is great for eb & pp. Good luck.

You can only fudge the ssn with 1X use prepaid cards that cannot be reloaded.

Stored value cards such as Amex Serve are tied to a bank account, and they require a ssn before you get the card.

Akimbo has a very nice card, no fees at all of any kind. I've used them 3 years without trouble.

Hi can anyone advise of a card to use for PayPal? any replacement for entropy?

then why not get one which requires SSN,IRS expects you to report income.
If you are audited,they wil ask for your bank statements,any incoming deposits if not salary,inheritance,insurance claims,pension,they want you to prove it is not income,same with state sales tax audit
