Looking to put an EIN in my Stealth PP account
 

Hello,

I know that after reaching 200/$20000 on a stealth account, PP will ask for SSN or EIN, and I am close to getting to that limit.

I am just wondering if I can upgrade my pp to a business account with an EIN from my LLC company? (the name is under myself)

Would this avoid the SSN and EIN problem and would pp find out it is me because I am the owner of the company?

also do I have to change anything on the stealth ebay account ?

Upgrade and add your EIN.

Recently paypal is also asking for the last four of the SS of the user.
Adding random numbers does not work for most people if not all. Some people are reporting that adding the last four of the EIN has worked but it is still too soon to know for sure.

Once I add my EIN,

Do I need to add a new bank ? or I can just keep using the one that is on there right now?

Also I've read on the forum that if I upgrade, and it asks for the last 4 SSN, I can just open a new tap and type in Paypal.com again, is that correct?

I tried this a few weeks ago and did not work for me. Last 4 of EIN and any birthday (to make sure you are 18+). Opened a few weeks ago... about 15 transactions amounting to $200 so far and it everything looks fine.

You should be fine. The only problem could possibly be if you have a phake name and addy on PayPal then you 1099k will be issued under that name if you go over the 20k/200 transaction limit. That is filed with the IRS, you could be fine with PayPal for all I know. If it is a LLC the Business name might be on the 1099K not 100% sure. I know if you add an EIN as an individual (not corporation) to your PayPal the name on the account comes on the 1099k.
