Old account wrong age
 

Hello,

About 5 years ago, I created a PayPal account, at age 14. The only way for me to do this was to obviously lie about my age. Well I wasn't thinking far enough ahead to the point where I would need an account when actually turned 18. The account has been standing for about 5 years with no issues. However, I also created another account when I was 13 that shortly got banned after I needed to provide a SSN and the date of birth didn't match up lol. So now I am wondering, is it possible to switch my birthdate on the current account and provide my SSN without getting banned?

Or could I create a new account with my SSN without getting banned?

You can't change your birth date, obviously.

So do you guys think I would get banned if I closed my current account and tried to open another one under my real age and my SSN number which has been used on a banned account in the past?

Im assuming your SSN is unique to you, and given paypal's propensity for retaining and cross checking data, I suspect its likely that you will not even be able to use your SSN on a new account - much like you cant use the same Bank Account details on more than one account
