Paypal website down?

I am getting internal server error when I go to the main site. Funny thing is I can go to paypal/shipnow and print a label without a problem. Anyone else?

summary is down but you can pretty much do anything. The redirect shows an error after most all tasks.

Can you look at your transaction info? Ex. Customer info, transaction is, customers email address etc.

PayPal is definitely having problems right now. I cannot even log into my real account. I get a "500 Internal Server Error" when trying to log in.

I experienced similar issues on the UK platform a couple of hours ago. It was back to normal after about an hour (for me anyway).

Well, regardless, there is no doubt they are having issues. All of these systems, be it at eBay, PayPal, Amazon, Walmart or Bloomingdales are so complicated, it is a small miracle that they normally operate with no downtime.

My PC has over 2 million files on the "C" drive, I can just imagine how many files PayPal has, across all their servers.

So, the bottom line is, we do not yet know if Vanilla still works or not. I'm guessing this is all related to the glitch. Sometimes, one thing starts going wrong with a server and then it starts snowballing.

On the test account I tried to create when I saw this thread, PayPal never sent me an email, even though I specifically requested one to confirm my email. I also tried to verify my phone number. I didn't get a text until more than 45 minutes had passed.

So, everybody calm down, we will know soon enough about Vanilla and even if they ARE banned, there are other cards that will work.

Stealth is not dead. It has gotten a bit more complicated and expensive over the years, but it is not dead.

I had no idea that different areas would have outages

Well, the hotspots are where the reports are coming from. But, yes, it is certainly possible that PayPal could be down in the UK, but just fine here in the US, or vice-versa.

But the Northeast and not the Midwest, south west, or northwest? That is interesting to me.
At the same time the Northeast is very very populated hence the higher report numbers.

PayPal is back up. Vanilla Visa's systems are down. They are beng declined everywhere. I'm sure they will resolve this soon.

Paypal confirms this on Facebook.

PayPal
Hi Kelly - PayPal has not been hacked. Some members are experiencing an intermittent issue logging into their account. Our engineers are actively working towards a resolution and we thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

This has been happening since last week.

Im getting emails from paypal for items I sold on the 2nd August

They're only coming through today.

I'm suspecting because the emails have started to come back through the servers are hammered hence the reason why theres been difficulty logging in
