Adding a VCC to Lift the Limits
 

Hi,

Is there a way to add a VCC to a PayPal and confirm the card before I add a bank account and withdraw any money? I can't find a direct link to the page that allows me to confirm the card and lift my limits.

Up to now, I have been waiting until after I add a bank account and hit my $500 withdrawal limit, attempt to withdraw more funds, and then the link to lift my limits and confirm my card pops up so I can do it.

But I would really like to lift the limits and confirm the card sooner than this, even before I add a bank account and withdraw any money if possible.

Yes bottom left hand corner. Says how much can you send with paypal. Click and remove limits. Easy peasy.

To get your withdrawl limit removed you need to do 2 of 3 things:
1. Add a VCC (and confirm it)
2. Add a bank account (and verify it)
3. Add your SSN.
Since this is stealth adding the SSN is not an option leaving the first 2.

Paypals system for verifying credit cards in unavailable for the past day or so FYI. Hopefully they fix or make it available soon.

Yeah its been iffy lately, been having lots of errors but I was able to get a couple through last night

That is crazy it worked for you yesterday because I have this one account I need to withdraw from and keep getting the system unavailable notice!! It is starting to piss me off, lol

I'm not sure if you are getting the error when you are trying to make a regular withdrawal to your bank account, but when I was getting a similar error I found this info on another thread: "The workaround I found was to go to paypal.com/wdfunds it's a direct link to the classic page." For me, it worked.

Click on the card in paypal, click confirm, make sure you have $1.9 dollars in your debit card for the charge that paypal will send. You can't really remove withdraw limit until you confirm your bank by getting the code sent to your bank.

All is well today. Looks like paypal fixed the problem.
