Does PayPal run AVS verification on VCC (Entropay) ?
 

QUESTION: Does PayPal run AVS verification on VCC (Entropay) ?

I made a fresh PayPal account, new MAC address that's never been used with another eBay or PayPal account before, giving me fresh IP to use as well. Then I confirmed mobile (tracfone), confirmed email (gmail), and linked my freshly created EntroPay VCC 16-digit CC # , CVC , and EXP DATE.

PayPal accepted my VCC and now my profile is 80% complete. I have not yet made an eBay account.

What I am wanting to know...
PP accepted my VCC (entropay), YES… but does this mean they just checked to see if my 16digit card #, my CVC 3-digit code, and expire date on the card were matching what I typed into PP’s form fields?

In other words….. Does PayPal not run AVS check on these EntroPay VCC’s ?

I am slightly nervous now, because I do not really know if this is the case…? And as a result, I am remaining that much more cautious before proceeding further in any which direction.

My ENTROPAY Name, Address, City, Zip details – NONE of these details match my fresh PAYPAL Name, Address, City, or Zip details. Yet, my Virtual Credit Card was still accepted by PayPal. Does this automatically mean that PayPal doesn’t run AVS check on this VCC? Because Name, Address, City, AND zip are cross-examined for correlative accuracy in MOST all AVS checks, right?? Someone please correct me if I’m wrong! There’s nothing more deadly to a community of readers than “false knowledge” – it is the most devastatingly destructive form of knowledge out there!

So someone who has any REAL firsthand knowledge about whether PayPal runs AVS checks on VCC’s; please do everyone the honor by stepping up to the plate to share what you know!

confirm the card in pp and the 4 digit code should be in entro if all is well

Just paid my eBay fees using Entropay no problem, everything went through fine.
