releasing of funds times
 

Do any of you understand how paypal handles releasing of funds?

What I very specifically mean is I get most of my funds released in batches. So 1:30-3am will have a hand full of funds released. 4-7pm 10-midnight etc...

It would seem that funds would be released at the same time payment comes it. So for me, I get payments consistently at 10am, 10:30, 11, 11:30, noon, etc..all the way until midnight and skipping 3-5pm

So why do the funds get released at odd times in batches? It messes up withdrawals sometimes.

what time zone are you in? These times mean nothing without that info. I'm on the West Coast and mine almost all release 3 pm and again 9 pm.

Good point. Im on the east coast usually.

I did not get any releases before 3pm pst the past few days. Most around midnight pst.

On my newest account I can attest to what Yankee said.

3 payments got released all between 12:00 am - 1:30 am. I don't think ever got it in between 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Woke up this morning to 17 released payments all between 2:17am and 2:43am eastern time. so 11:17-11:43 pst.

Now although I am complaining because my system withdraw in the early evening I am getting funds released early too so this may actually be a new and good thing.
