Dumb question about linking ebay to paypal

Dumb question: If I have a seasoned ebay account with like 400+ trades and I want to link it to a new paypal account I created and want to grow it, will the paypal payments be withheld? And even if they are, will ebay care that my paypal and ebay names dont match up?
