Heeelp!!! Paypal Closed account/Case
 

Hi all,

Thank you so much in advance for any help. I closed my Paypal account and just got a charge back in my email.

I have a new paypal account for personal use. Will they be able to charge me this money on my paypal account?

I can't respond to the case because the account is closed. I am not sure how this works.

Did you out he exact same details on the new paypal account?

I have the same Eb account. That is the concern. I don't want to burn my Eb account. I have a different address, phone number, name ip address on the new paypal. But because I have used the same Ebay account (although pp eb have separated).I don't know if this will affect my new paypal account.

They will charge your "closed" PP account, and then will try to hunt you down, if the amount is significant.

I am not too familiar with their new methods and how they changed since paypal and Ebay separated but I would always recommend using the same details (especially name) on both eBay and paypal.

Thanks for the help everyone. I appreciate the help. I guess I will have to wait and see what happens. Ironically Paypal advised me to close the old account if I didn't want to have a business account with my sister. The pp account was under her name because I was selling her stuff (she was ok with it). I wanted to continue on with it but under my name the eb account has been in my name from the beginning. I hope this all makes sense. I am going to start making some stealth accounts because I can see how important it is.
