Added a new paypal to a an ebay account after last one was banned
 

Lots of threads on the varying success rate of adding new papyal accounts to ebay accounts after paypal banning the previous account

Seems to be luck of the draw

I've added a new papyal account to an ebay account that is in good standing, and ebay just upped my selling limits on their own accord by a large margin

Have listed just a few things and a few days went by fine

Now paypal haven't banned the paypal but they have held it and require all the account verification

I don't want to open a new bank account specifically for this paypal for it to be banned and useless in a few days

same with spending hours getting the right documents together

Shall i bother?

what does the limitation require?

Does it mention anything about the previous account?

Did you you set up a new user account and IP before making this new paypal?

Yeah new stuff

doesn't mention old account

but they want bank account verified and i have even added one yet so bit strange

phone, card, address confirmation, everything...(though not ID yet i don't think)

Oh so you got the general limitation that you can get on new paypals.

Confirm bank
Confirm address

When you pass this they will ask for id on the next step.

Of you want a chance of this account working you have to complete the review.

But always know in the back of your mind that paypal can close tou down if you ever linked.

The new Paypal has been linked to the limited one without any doubt. Even if you supply everything requested, it will get permanently limited when it is reviewed by a rep.

Even if it has not been linked yet (and it most likely has been) the risk of it being linked at any point (which is inevitable) makes this a bit of a waste of time and resources.
Start fresh and don't try to take any shortcuts because they'll always catch up with you in the end.

I have successfully added another paypal account to a surviving ebay account after a paypal suspension. the account has lasted 18months so far and no problems

But i did it for another account and it was a waste of time

Yes that's all well and good but when you get busy over Christmas and you're too busy packing orders and forget to withdraw the £3k in the PayPal - that's the sort of time you will be back on here crying that you've been permanently limited.

Oh and then the next thing will be that they want docs to release the £3k....

My account with $680 got limited. They requested a pile of docs and then permanently limited me...
