WTF is with paypal
 

Im so sick of them. I have an account that was connected to Ebay. I got a limitation today asking for about 12 different things. Confirm bank accounts (2). Confirm CC. All which already where. Business proof and invoices. The account isn't a business. I sold some things that I had around. Photo ID, proof of address, etc etc. I called and they want a bank statement and a photo ID. I received two payments as family and friends, totaling $400. They straight out told me that "personal" payments are not allowed now? WTH is that? They asked what all these other payments were for. They were all Ebay. The Ebay # were even listed on it. All shipped. All delivered. I really just don't get it anymore. How could anyone realistically ever keep accounts going if they scrutinize every payment, even when they can clearly see they are Ebay payments?

That sucks.
They act like they arent familiar with ebay when you call them. What is this ebay company you speak of? Why are so many payments coming from this ebay thing you talk of. You seem suspicious. LIMITED. GOOD BYE

What should I do? Chalk it up as a loss of get someone to do the docs...knowing there is not guarantee?

Something must have triggered this.
These personal payments you got - who sent them? you yourself? are those accounts in good standing?
And how old is this account?

No, not me. This account was around 60 days.

To my knowledge they are in good standing. If they weren't, would one or both trigger it?

Yes.
If one of those accounts got limited a domino effect could ensue limiting other related accounts.
Also, its a rather young account which would increase the chance of that happening.

Personal and service payments have always been trouble for me.
Never again would I even try them again.

if your account was 60 days old but NEW to selling then yes it will trigger a limitation, especially with 2 gift payments in a short period of time.
