I no longer use eBay as it was suspended for listing vero.

Question is, can paypal limit or suspend my new account even if payments from buyers are not directly from eBay ?

My other paypal account has over 3ks in balance and I am not able to withdraw them until 180 days... I don't want the same thing happening to my new paypal account after receiving a few payments and have them send me an email " we no longer want to have business with you"

It's pretty easy for your buyers to select the payment type as an eBay item if you are selling on eBay and that'll link you.

You should research 3rd party merchant services like auction checkout or cart manager.

Thanks aspkin, but no I no longer sell on eBay. So just my question is, would accepting payments via paypal outside of eBay limit me in any way ? Just this new nonse of paypal is causing problems.

You will still be able to be limited but not at much.

Think of it this way.

PayPal + EBay equals you'll be limited 75% of the time for some reason or another.

PayPal + Your own website and no eBay equals you'll be limited 20% of the time for some reason or another.

and when they limit you, will they still ask for ssn and supplier info the same way they do with ebay?? or would they ask you for information relating to the site? (verification that its yours or something??)
