Now that ebay and paypal are separate companies, do they still talk to each other?
meaning, can I create another email address in a paypal account that's associated with a suspended ebay and start selling on a new ebay account?

Good question. I want to know it, too. But I think its not. Like me, I can't list an item with ebay because my paypal cant accept payment because they need me to provide ein,tin or ssn.

The separation was for accounting purposes only.
Expect the exact same personal relationship between the two companies to continue on.

nothing has changed as far as i can tell.. except everything seems to be broken :d

so many glitches and so on.

Reason they split was for NASDAQ reasons and also so Paypal can pursue other venues without having Ebay attached to it. Heard theyre trying to get Amazon. Not sure how far that will go.
But nothing else has changed. They have always been in different buildings, different call centers but theyve always been able to exchange info.
Just do things the way youve been doing them. Dont get lazy and things will be the same

Well then, read above and search the forum along with google.

Nothing is different as far as ebay and paypal communications of shared info. Five year agreement between the two and ebay still owns paypal per say. Owns compared to being the same company. HUGE difference as far as investors and opportunities go and nearly zero difference to us as users.
