Does Entropay or Vanilla Visa still work?
 

Hi All, I have my account almost setup but the one thing I am nervous about is verifying the credit card. I wanted to know if something like Entropay (VCC) or Vanilla Visa card that is registered will still work or if I will get the 0/0 limits

I have done a search through the forums and I have found some posts that claim they do and some that claim they don't. I just wanted an updated answer on it

I use Entros all the way, no limit issues.

For US Entropay doesn't work with Paypal eventually you will get limited because they can detect that the currency of VCC is in Euro. I have lots of accounts limited lately using Entropay. At first you don't see limitation but give it a month and eventually they will limit you.

I never had an issue with entropay, and I have accounts that I added a VCC from this week to 2 years ago all working great , PayPal US.

They both work, the good thing about vanilla is the long expiration date as opposed to entropay where you get only a year.

I've never used Vanilla but entropay works just fine for me and so should it for everyone else.

Vanilla Visa is a much better choice, in my opinion. You get at least 7 years out of it and it is the easiest to obtain - Vanilla Visa is available just about everywhere for about $5.

I wonder, how can you prove, that the Entro is the cause of limitation, not anything else.

The type of card used does not on its own determine the starting selling limits. There are numerous factors.

There are lots of people using Vanilla Visa that end up with 0/0 limits but as above it is still overall a better choice than Entropay.

Vanilla visa card is really good. I use it always.

UPDATE: Can confirm that Vanilla Visa and Vanilla Mastercard work to make account. Just did it today 9/27

I recently made a paypal account and used an entropay VCC and it was limited within 1 day..... they asked for proof of CC statement and ID, this was on a USA account

Did you perhaps list or sell something the same day of creation?

If so what was the value you received?
Was your paypal bank verified?
Do you use a vpn?

Those all play a part.

Entropay doesn't work consistently. Trust me you will find out the hard way when all your accounts is asking for CC statements...

I signed up with an old phone number and the account was Instantly limited...

No problems with entropay in my country too, even more we can withdraw directly to card..

where can you get a vanilla visa card for $5? I least I paid was $20 b/c you have to put at least $20 on it.

The previous person is right. I have had some accounts I added entropay and a month later they are limited. They are doing this frequently with automatic account sweeps monthly or whatever software they are using. I once was told by a rep that why was I using a european card on an american account and I was annoyed because anybody could do that for personal reasons. Economic times are getting harder. They want to know everybody about you.
