Registering with your state is not. You can delay this process for up to one year.

Picking your EIN entity is important and I strongly suggest consulting your accountant. Odds are a simple LLC multi member will be ideal.

What do you mean? What can you delay for a year?

To clarify, this is a stealth account I purchased from a seller on this site. The account is only 6 months old.

I'm going to stop selling on this account and let it sit until 2016. Thanks for the advice.

They should be forced by law to post that the IRS does NOT charge for EIN's and that they are selling their services.

That website is deceptive as hell!

I would hate to work for their customer service department. I bet they get tons of angry people calling in after realizing they just got hustled.

WAIT did I read that ?? u said I have 1 year to register my ein to the state??? what if I don't . I know its been more than a year on couple ein I provided last year ..

hello i have 206 transactions in my stealth PP acct so in that point i wont be able to recive any other payment until i provide my EIN , i would like to know more about how to do this , it's not ilegal to use EIN on PP under diferent name ? and how many EIN can i have ? (i have diferents stealth acct backup) , in case finally i loose even a PP or ebay acct how can i close the EIN belong to that acct ? and last question in case i have more than 1 EIN how can i collect my tax info for each one if PP it's under diferent name ? please i know i have too many questions but i 'm really need help ..... thanks

The EIN will be applied for under all your real information, and the other business name associated with the EIN needs to be the same as your PayPal business name

so all my real info just use it to apply for EIN and then when i choose the LLc I must use the name under PP, right?

To clarify something here...you can only have ONE EIN filed under your SSN as sole prop. Otherwise if you have already done that, you will need LLC

If we just apply for EIN without registrate in state ( California ), and we pay tax on time, what will happen? ( registrate at California need more $1000+ fee, and the money is waste if EIN does not work at PP )

i got the same message on my account and i have only done around 5k in sales.

they wouldnt send 1099k for that would they ?
