New member here. First, I want to thank all the members for sharing their info. It's been really helpful!

Question:
I have a US Paypal account with an SSN and bank account already attached to the account.

Will there be any problems to upgrade to a Paypal business account?

I thought I read that PP business accounts require a business bank account. Is this true?

Will PP require any additional info once I upgrade?

No, PayPal Business accounts do NOT require a business banking account. You can choose to have your income reported under your SSN, or you can get an EIN. I recommend the EIN. PayPal does not ask for too much stuff just because you upgrade. Since this is your real account (I'm guessing since you said an SSN is attached) it should be fairly easy.
