Elisek | 10-02-2015 09:47 AM | US Address, UK PayPal Let me start by saying I have no interest at all in opening a US PayPal for selling. None at all.
There is a US based website I wish to purchase from that only accept PayPal and only ship within the US. They seem to be very strict and unwilling to budge on either of these things.
I have a US address set up with a mail forwarding service. But as I understand it, you can't add a US address to a UK PayPal.
Is there a way to do this while paying with my UK VCC via PayPal? Do I have to open a US PP, and if so, how do I do that?
Can buyer accounts be frozen? |

Ebayorbust | 10-02-2015 10:46 AM | Re: US Address, UK PayPal You should be using a US IP address as well when making the purchase. |

Bunneh | 10-02-2015 11:13 AM | Re: US Address, UK PayPal I have a usa ebay account and use a usa paypal account attached to it with a usa address.
I use entropay on it and just purchased a vba on the forum to finish the verification and it works fine :) |
Elisek | 10-10-2015 12:02 PM | Re: US Address, UK PayPal So, I:
1. Add To Cart the products I wish to buy.
2. Check out as a guest using a US IP address (paid for VPN service).
3. Enter USA Mail forwarding address.
4. Enter Entropay VCC payment information.
5. Click 'Pay'.
And all of this will be accepted, yes? No chance PayPal will say 'Sorry, but you know....CAN'T BE ACCEPTED!!!!!' to any information I give?
Sorry for all the questions but I've never had to deal with US PayPal in any way before and just want to make sure as I'd be parting with a lot of money for stock.
I honestly wish this seller would just sodding ship to the UK! |

Anything under £100 goes through fine on guest checkout, but sometimes when you use guest check out over this amount it will either say they dont accept this payment method or it goes in review and payment could get returned to entropay.
Eitherway if neither work, you can withdraw from entropay back to your bank account it takes 3-5 days.
Why not just use paypal? are you having issues with that? |

I would like to use PayPal as (sadly) this is the only payment method the seller accepts. But I was advised somewhere above ^ that I need to use a US PayPal with a US IP rather than my UK one, as I have a US address that my UK PP won't let me add.
I currently don't have a US PayPal registered at all. And any funds I would need to pay for the products would come from an Entropay card.
Value would be around £300-£400.
I would love to use my UK PayPal account to make this purchase, and just ask the seller to ship to my USA address instead of the UK one on the PayPal invoice, but once the seller sees that I'm really based in the UK, he may refuse to ship the items to me at all. He seems to be really against me being UK based for some reason! |

and paypal wont pick up just try to pay if not work then u will have refund |
Elisek | 10-16-2015 10:09 AM | Re: US Address, UK PayPal Ok so, instead of checking out as a guest, should I create a US PayPal using a new user profile, VPN and my mail forwarding address?
Would I need to verify the PayPal account if all I'm doing is making purchases with my Entropay card? Also, would US PP detect that I created the VCC in the UK? Do any numbers on the card give it away? (All my cards created at the mo start with '4101' - I think).
One more thing - My mail forwarding address in the States has my real name on the mailbox. Will it raise a flag with US PP if they see my real name? I can't imagine a name alone would get you into trouble but I was just wondering.
Again, sorry for all the questions. I'm not a UK Stealth newbie but I am a US Stealth newbie!
And I'll repeat - I have no interest whatsoever in selling in the US. I simply want to buy off-eBay from someone who won't ship to the UK and he only accepts PayPal. It'll be a lot of money so I just want to make sure my payment of £300+ won't vanish into thin air if something goes wrong :) |
Elisek | 11-03-2015 10:13 AM | Re: US Address, UK PayPal RE my post above ^ have I got this right?
Should I create a US PayPal using my real name/mail forwarding address and simply pay using Entropay?
Will I need to verify the US PP with a VBA if all I'm doing is purchasing (not selling)? |
Elisek | 11-18-2015 09:25 AM | Re: US Address, UK PayPal Bump again, please.
Really need to know the best way to go about this.
