Natwest bank issue

Created UK PP acc, added VCC, entered code. Now I am trying to add a Natwest bank account. However, when I try to do it, it says "There was an error processing your request. Please try again later." What can be the cause of this problem?

Re: Natwest bank issue

This normally happens when the bank is to new to add to paypal. Natwest takes 3-5 days to set up completely even though you do get the account details straight away.
So sometimes it glitches.

You wont be able to add the same account number to paypal unless you message or contact paypal and tell them you having issues adding the account.
Then paypal will remove it from the system and you will be able to re-add it.

This is not a new bank, some time has passed since I created it. It hasn't been added to PP ever. It looks like this:

Account holder: XXXX XXXXX
Account number: XXXXXXXX
Sort code: XX-XX-XX
Bank name: Natwest

It happens a lot. It glitches when adding. Use the message centre and tell them you battling to add it and they will sort it so you can add it.

But you will get a automatic reaponse email that you need to reply to as well for them to respond to you.

Trust me it happens all the time.

UPDATE: called PP, they activated it manually. I suppose due the fact that the PP was created by unskilled person, there was some kind of link, which caused issues while adding BA.

PayPal's glitches seem to be the most common whenever a bank is invloved, which can be tricky because your never 100% if the glitch is on PayPal's end or the bank lol...good move calling them and having them do it manually. Just always ask the PayPal rep for a name or employee number in case something goes wrong in the near future!
