Is THIS the "180 day" email??

On a prior limited Paypal account I can got an email that contained the actual wording saying funds were being held 180 days blah blah blah. However, I received this email on a different Paypal account which doesn't say anything about 180 days. Will there be another email sent or am I not going to get my money at all?!

Dear xxxxxx,

We emailed you on August 8, 2015 asking for additional information about your account. Since we haven’t received a response from you, your account has been further limited.

Your PayPal account has been limited because we've noticed significant changes in your account activity. As your payment processor, we need to understand these changes better.

What does this mean?

This account limitation will affect your ability to:

send money
withdraw money
receive money

Additionally, you cannot:

remove any bank accounts
remove credit cards
close your account

What to do next

Please log in to your PayPal account and visit the Resolution Center to provide the requested information. If we don’t receive this information, we will be unable to remove this limitation.

Once we receive and review your documentation, we will email you regarding the status of your account.

Re: Is THIS the "180 day" email??

Not sure, but this was mine

45 days only

We routinely review account activity in the PayPal system. When we reviewed
your account, we noticed that your activity violates some of the agreements
you have with us.

Because of this, we’ve limited your accounts and can no longer offer our
services to you. You’ll still be able to log in to view your transaction
history, but you won’t be able to send or receive money.

What’s the problem?

We noticed one or more of the following problems:

1. You provided information that we believe was false, inaccurate, or
misleading; or

2. You sent or received money that was potentially related to fraudulent
activity; or

3. You have more than one account with a negative balance; or

4. You are in violation of the User Agreement, the Commercial Entity
Agreement, the Acceptable Use Policy, or another agreement you have with
PayPal.

Our decision was based on terms outlined in these agreements.

What to do next

As allowed under the User Agreement, we’ll hold the money in your account
for 45 days. We’ll use your balance to reimburse buyers who file claims,
chargebacks, or any other reversals against you. Before we reimburse the
buyer, in most cases, you’ll have a chance to respond to the claim,
chargeback, or reversal.

We’ll send you an email after 45 days letting you know when you can
withdraw money from your accounts.

If you think that we permanently limited your accounts in error, you may
appeal this decision. Just go the Help Center and click Contact Us.

When you contact us, we’ll need some information to process your appeal.
Please have your drivers’ license, your Social Security or tax ID card, a
current utility bill, your business license, your articles of
incorporation, or other identifying documentation.

Sincerely,
PayPal

Better to just wait the 45 days and get your money. Calling might make things worse for you. OP probably know his mistake so calling won't help.

In your case i would just call and say I'm not sending you **** so close my account. Then you should get the 180 day email.

Re: Is THIS the "180 day" email??

they will send 180day email within time frame, it doesn't matter when you exactly receive email - it's not important, it's anyway 180 days from your last received payment and not from email itself.

Re: Is THIS the "180 day" email??

Any limitation message you get starts the 180 day countdown. Makes no difference what sort of limitation it is.
If you do nothing about the account now in 180 days youll get another email stating your funds are eligible for withdrawal.

Re: Is THIS the "180 day" email??

It is 180 days or whatever days since the DAY YOU WERE LIMITED.

No follow up
No calls
No nothing

Unless they find something wrong with the transaction

Re: Is THIS the "180 day" email??

From my experience its 180 days from the last payment you received, then they will release all funds. If you haven't violated their selling policy then rest assured you will receive your money automatically after 180 days. If they dont give them a call and they will release it for you. But you will have to 180 days.
Good luck

Re: Is THIS the "180 day" email??

@missbeingapowersellar, this NOT the 180 emal, it is simply a limitation email giving you an opportunity to restore the account, you of course need to provide them with information that they are asking for in the resolution center, if you refuse your account should become permanently suspended after 180 days, at which time you should be able to withdraw your money to the attached bank account.

@breakthecycle2 Your email is an newer shorter version of the "180 Day, Parting our ways Email",,,simply wait the 45 days and you should be able to withdraw your money

45 days instead of 180 would indeed make our life 4 times easier

Why don't you call in and say you just want your money like any other place would do ? I always have a friend call in when my account gets limited and they always release the funds .
