Any card that you reload requires a SS#

You can get cards where you can load one time like a vanilla visa and no SS# is required

You can attach a Vanilla Visa, change the payment source to your Vanilla and make your purchase.

I know of a gift card that will let you reload many times max of $500. No ssn

well, Im not sure if Im getting scammed or not. I went to buy something and I only have a CC attached to this paypal. I went to pay the invoice and it wanted a bank account attached. I then went to send a payment as goods and services, but I then got the "we can't send your payment right now" message. I called in and they told it was because I didn't confirm my credit card. I did that with her on the phone and the payment went through. The seller then told me it was being held or something. Not the 21 day hold, but some kind of other hold. The seller is from overseas, so I really couldn't fully get him. He refunded me, but because it's a card, its going to take a few days to post back.

It is called a payment review. More than 2000 things can cause it but usualy the first time an account spends more than $250.00 in a single purchase, new device or new payment type(such as adding your new card)
It almost always clears in 12 or less.

I have no idea why he would have refunded.

He actually refunded me TWICE. I did send the payment, he funded. He said "send as service". I said there is no option to send as just "service". So anyway, I sent it again as "goods and services" and then he refunded it because of the hold or whatever it was.

might not trust paypal. If it is china they can have a handful of other issues as well that makes many novice sellers along with large experienced sellers reluctant to use paypal.

He said he was from Jordan. That's probably why it was being held, wasn't it....
