siriuscat | 10-20-2015 04:27 AM | Lifting UK Paypal Yearly Limit - credit reference agencies Unable to submit docs.
Approaching the UK paypal yearly limit and received (expected) the notification ‘Lift limits with account information’.
Typed in stealth details, then get the following:
‘To help ensure paypal remains safer place for all customers to transact, we are legally required to confirm your identity we will check your name and address with credit reference agencies such as callcredit , experian or equifax this search record wont affect your credit score.
Please check your name, date of birth and current address are displayed correctly below if accurate click submit to make changes click edit
if you do not want us to automatically identify you and prefer to send or fax us confirming your name and address click cancel’.
Don’t want to be automatically identified so click cancel.
However, Im returned to the original page where I filled in my stealth details which again takes me to the 'if you do not want us to automatically identify you click cancel' page . I’m stuck in a loop with no obvious option to submit docs (even though the statement above suggests it can be done).
Have I missed something? (cannot find anything on search)
The account has no limitations apart from I cannot close the account. Also states if I don’t think I will reach the £1700 yearly limit, there is no requirement to continue.
If a credit check is done (and failed) do paypal then request docs? Or is this a bad idea?
