No 21 day hold countries
 

I've heard from sources outside this forum that certain countries, for instance the UAE don't have a 21 day hold?

Is this true?

If i were to make a UAE Paypal for example can i sell on EBay UK immediately if the country the Paypal is registered in doesn't have a native EBay?

I am correct saying that it's eBay giving instructions to PayPal to hold your money for 21 day and not PayPal ? so in this case PayPal country wouldn't make difference

Why so obsessed with the 21 day hold? I don't quit understand it. Is it difficult to swallow?

Even if UAE had no 21 day hold......how do you plan to get the money out? Perhaps instead of trying to find a "workaround" you should work on your current accounts and get them past the 21 day hold.....

Yes this is correct, eBay places the holds or communicates to PayPal to place holds on funds.

But also now PayPal has its own hold as well and a certain criteria needs to be met before holds are lifted from any sale

its nasty having 10-15k constantly on hold knowing that paypal can steal it at any point. Also gives cash flow issues. I don't quite understand how you don't realize that.

Holds are an inconvenience but they are necessary to cut back on fraud. Operations just need to be adjusted so that you never have a large amount held at one time that you can't afford to lose. Spreading sales over multiple accounts again becomes very important.

Also with priority shipping and same day or next handling time the 21 day hold cuts down to 6-7 days

It's quite easy to spot a drop shipper like myself as cash flow is key so anything that hinders this is a problem to us more so than the stock in hand seller who can wait 4 months for all they care as long as they're getting the money.

i dont mind waiting the time its just that i dont have 25+ items per account i intend on creating, to sell and hence get rid of the 21 day hold limit.

In certain countries you can withdraw to a avs supporting prepaid card.

You know, I don't....I personally would never allow myself to have that much in 1 account but I guess if it's unavoidable then it is what it is. Also I do recall that most money gets released 3 days after delivery.....perhaps it's not fast enough.

Well after I noticed that my accounts get suspended quite fast I have changed my thinking that it's not daily income anymore, it's savings which I will withdraw after 180 days...

Drop Shipping + 21 day hold = Account suicide. Unless you have enough money to keep you going through the 21 days to keep selling/living. Drop shipping is the dumbest

21 day holds only apply to new sellers. Typically after 3 months of selling the holds dissappear.

In those first 3 months it's not advised to receive 10-15k anyway. You would hit the eu receiving limit well before that point.

For a long lasting stealth you need to work your way in to it. Not sell 5k per month.

Plus you can get the funds released sooner than 21 days when uploading tracking details.

Everyone seems to be in a rush these days rather than building the accounts to last. Maybe that's why so many people have problems with PayPal/eBay limiting accounts.

Most (95%+) send without tracking in the UK, didn't mean 10-15k on one account, the amount is irrelevant anyway even 1-2k is annoying and still gives issues. Don't care about 'long term stealth' #justgivemethemoney

thats why I posted, does my head in. People ask a question and others start questioning their question. wtf

If I upload tracking, and it shows a signature, and I call paypal to inform them of this, how long after that will the money be released in my paypal? Is that the 3 day wait?

Does Paypal ever call the recipient direct to DOUBLE CONFIRM/CHECK that they actually have received it?
