About UK Paypal limits lifting.

Hi everyone.

OK guys, needs you advice.
5 days ago i have uploaded scans of passport and bill to lift my limits as I was nearly reaching the limit... After 2 days had a good sale day and reached my limit received message on paypal that my limit is reached and i have to provide the docs.
it shows that docs was uploaded but there is no any other message that it was refused etc. It is 3rd day now and still no any messages or email.
What is your advice?
Should i wait few more days?
Should I give them a call?
Should i upload the docs again?

Thanks in advance!

If it shows they are in resolution centre then you need to wait.

It takes around 5 days for paypal to look at the docs once you reach your limit.

What ever you do DO NOT call them. They will 100% get refused.

I appreciate you should know what your doing Bunneh, but are you genuinely telling me a genuine paypal user that reaches the limit, waits 3-4 days and still can't do anything ISN'T going to contact PayPal?

I would.

I have had bad experiences contacting them when uploading receiving limit documents, but also had good experiences too.

Im sorry i would rather wait a few days than risk an account.

Like i said the docs will get refused if you call.
Times have changed.

Try it yourself and see..

I wouldn't call at all as Bunneh said.

Calling on accounts that have had no history to lift limits isn't a given they will get limited though...

I second that. Calling in about a paypal receiving limit = BAD!

I just had to try that for myself and see if it would work, it didn't. Account suspended with a crazy notification. It was a new account with just one transaction in about two weeks. But I wanted to see if I could get the account receiving limit lifted.

This is the message I received from them:

Seems rather funny since I've only ever received sent $75 from the account and never received anything!

I would wait more time OP as well - don't call and force their hand

you send them your ID and wait some days. They will reply you that they accept or not accept your ID. That's all

are you guys saying...

that by calling paypal, you are getting the customer service guy angry, thus making him BLOCK your account??

that sounds very stupid

Think it was a case where i was thinking aloud at how people are receiving these limitation emails etc and what they are doing in their accounts

Dranzerr, are you saying that you called Paypal many times when your accounts reached the maximum receiving limit in the EU and you provided documents and they lifted the limits?

I think what we're trying to say is that it's best to let Paypal do their own thing when it comes to document verification... Other times (general queries, or issues regarding transactions) shouldn't be a problem to call in and ask them to help...

i may be referring to another issue then -

im referring to issues of having already a fully verified paypal account, and paypal slaps me with a limitation to provide docs or alike -

ill provide them through upload , then i might even call them to get it expedited -

Your choice.

Always comes down to the individual.

Practise poker a lot if you use paypal/ebay.

It is not an even playing field.
