Can not add bank account to some accounts
 

Hi Everyone,
I have multiple US paypal accounts got limited and after 180 days I received emails saying that I can withdraw the funds in it.

But when I tried to add US bank account to it( WELLS FARGO), I kept getting the following message,

Sorry, we are not able to process your request. Please try again later.

Some accounts can add a bank account successfully but most of them can not add bank accounts.

Anyone met the same problem? Or just system error? Thanks !

same me . i called paypal . and they not able fix it.

They're adding new security blocks for the holiday season and it's cutting into account limitations, even after the 180 day period.

Until they fix the system, the problems will persist. Too much security. Soon you won't be able to get your money out at all.

It happens to me at time, most times i try again in like 2 hours and they work fine.

I tried again and it still did not work. I even sent them message and they said they have reset my account but I still can not add a bank account.

You said soon I won't be able to get money out at all do you mean that we can't even withdraw the funds in it after 180 days limitation if we use false information?

Will wait some days work? Do you think they will keep our money and don't release? Thanks.

If your account is a business account than you can still update information while it is limited.

So change the business name to your real name and add an address you have access to , than go to withdraw and pick the option to have a check mailed to you.

And it will be sent in your business name which u previously changed to your real name

My account is a personal account and got limited and can not update to a business account.

Thats why I always keep the original bank accounts I used open.
You never know how and when paypal are going to make things even more difficult for us.

Just tied again today with no luck. Is this a paypal glitch for holiday reasons ? they sent the email saying that I can withdraw the funds but don't allow me to add bank accounts. WTF.
