After The 21 Day Hold
 

As soon as the 21 day hold has come, will it show the money as available?

If you try to withdraw the money as soon as its available, would be that fine? It should be shouldnt it, without there being any limitations...

Bare in mind its rare for it to actually be held for 21 days

As soon as the hold is up then you can withdraw, although generally its best to leave it for a few days and then not withdraw it all at once.

see, thats what i find very stupid... paypal holds money for 21 days... When 21 days has passed and they havent received any 'complaints' why is it still a problem to withdraw!?

Everything is just a teaser with paypal/ebay dangling a carrot

so far, monies have been in my account for 11 days. When do you usually see it being 'available' within the 21 day hold period? 14th day?

You may well need to issue a refund, pay fees ect so really it is always good to keep some funds in your account

Have you marked the item as dispatched and uploaded tracking information?

i thought to just wait for the 21 days to pass?

If I mark it as dispatched will that reduce the timing? what if I mark it as dispatched but dont upload tracking? is there a difference?

Adding tracking will get the holds released the fastest.

i havent got tracking -

ive marked it as dispatched

so im hoping (from what ebay wrote on their website) marking it as dispatched, holds get released within 3-7 days??

so today is the 17th day the money has been held in my paypal account

still pending...

21st day is this friday...

10-12 days from when you hit dispatch, you hit dispatch late so probably just be 21 days

Need to really read and understand their rules if you want to get money out as fast as possible.

Remember in future to mark dispatched as soon as an item is dispatched. Adding tracking is even better!

how are you informed nevertheless? on all situations? does paypal send an email on the 21st day? do you call them on the 21st day?

You just see the money released.

todays the day 1 of my payments is 'available' in my paypal account -

just checked and its still not available yet -


i guess paypal do not release it at midnight?

I doubt there is any specific time of day that Paypal releases payments. You've most likely been deemed a risky seller by Paypal since you didn't upload tracking instantly, so you may very well have to wait 21 days to get your funds.

The money will become available when it becomes available. Stressing over it is not going to help.

One of the benefits of having multiple accounts - I have money ready to be withdrawn every day. Once you learn a bit more and get your account established, you should look into getting new accounts. :typing:

Its the same time you get the payment

Get a payment at 5pm, it will often be release at 5pm on the correct day (be that 5/7/21 or however many days later)

its not about stressing - im erfectly fine

its understanding the mechanics and logic behind paypal

i unequivocally know it will all be released on friday - on my ebay it says one will be released today and one will be released friday


as ive never been here or used ebay when the 21day holds were in place its new

i last used ebay when all you had to do was to get positive feedback, and the fund were released from the hold paypal had

its all changed now

today is the day another payment got released which coincided with the buyer receiving the goods -

he marked it as items not as described and swiftly opened a case

next thing i know the monies held in paypal -

ive got separate monies in paypal where i was looking to buy something... for example i have £800 and wanted to buy something on ebay which was £400, clicked checkout and it said something about error, cannot process this at this time...?

when ive clearly got enough funds to cover it?

and then the option of paypal greyed out so i couldnt select it anymore...

Money will be held if a case is open. That is standard.

Have you got £800 available, or is part of that pending?

If this is a stealth account where are you going to try to get the goods sent to?

Getting money out of PayPal is always best done via bank withdrawals.

ive got 800£ available

tried to buy something for around 350-400 and it said error cannot process in red writing

and then paypal was not available to select on ebay...??

Totally depends on the account.
