withdrow more than $500 a month

how can I withdrow more than $500 a month?

thanks

egyptman90 08-08-2007 07:29 PM

withdraw

you have to lift the limit by...login in paypal click withdraw funds then it should say lift montholy limit click the link and add a credit car or your SS number this will lift the limit

AndreasF 08-08-2007 11:23 PM

Even after doing all these steps you might get limited once you go for more than 500 USD/month.

DogFacedBoy 08-09-2007 12:00 AM

I have noticed that PP is pushing a debit card. Would you get limited if you had one of their debit cards and simply used it to pay all of you monthly bills, like phone, gas, etc. and those amounts were over $500

Chris Hanson 08-09-2007 12:34 AM

Yes you can! It happened to me. With paypal always expect the unexpected. at the store trying to pay for groceries and bam! your card is denied. Went home and fired up the CPU to see my accounted limited for the 2nd time in 3 months

I have a question...
How do they get around banking regulations, considering the amount of money that runs through them?

You local banks can't just arbitrarily(sic?) freeze your account unless there is some sort of court order or IRS lien.

Chris Hanson 08-09-2007 12:55 PM

They are not a bank, they are a payment processor

I guess my question is how can they keep your money?

Also, what do you do if you are selling $700-$800 a month and only buying $100-200 of stuff on ebay a month. Eventually you will build up a big surplus and then you can't get that? I can see how they can prevent you from using their service, but how can they hold your money. Is there something in the TOS that we all skim over and sigh off on that gives them carte blanche?

Chris Hanson 08-09-2007 04:45 PM

you agreed to there TOS that they may limit your account and hold your money for up to 180 days.

you can withdraw if you play it smart.
don't rush and try to ship first.

Please elaborate...

ship first?

Chris Hanson 08-10-2007 01:01 PM

Hummm. for some reason i can't believe that. Not saying that you are lying

simogold 08-10-2007 02:14 PM

my meaning was : ship the item by using printing label by paypal via USPS or UPS so you can have the proof in case if the buyer deny something then withdraw your money after 2 days or 3 days by telling the buyer to leave the feedback for you and you are a newbie in ebay.
i have done this 3 times with 3 accounts less than 16 days.
thanks

Chris Hanson 08-10-2007 11:29 PM

This forum is getting to big for me.

koalawash 08-11-2007 06:41 AM

I guess you mean print the label, not necessarily "ship"..?

JackNoMore 08-12-2007 12:40 AM

Well MOST of this advice is good. Personally I and many others have never had an issue with using Firefox. I can't personally say anything about AOL right now as I'm still trying to understand how to use their IP on a dial connection. And if you're going to wait til you've bought 30 items on ebay before selling, I hope you have another job!

Other than that, sound advice :)

JackNoMore 08-12-2007 12:43 AM

Speaking of Paypal and limitations, does anyone know if the limit is triggered automatically by the computer or by hand by an employee? Anyone notice if the limit is less likely to occur if you do your business late at night or on a weekend?

egyptman90 08-13-2007 01:27 PM

agree jack

How were these accounts set up?
Were they with a gift card and then being deposited to it or with a bank account and if so how do you get around using your name?

How many is too many?

I just got a new account (EB) establihed, but haven't added a cc to it yet. When I do I don't want EB or PP shutting me down for having too many transactions. If nothing else I'll stagger my starting times.

egyptman90 08-13-2007 06:55 PM

good weekend as like a got 500-600 dallors and proly 40 paypal transactions as a new ebayer that triggers a flag for ebay and paypal

DogFacedBoy 08-13-2007 07:54 PM

Thanks.
Definitely more transactions than I would do in a weekend...or eve a week, but I have done that much $$$ in a week alot of times, but don't think I'd do it right out of the blocks with a newer account
