dranzerr | 12-02-2015 05:38 AM | Paypal Withdrawals - How Long For you? in 2015, how long does a paypal withdrawal take for you guys? Do they have faster payments still? Is it same day in bank if done before, lets say 1pm? |
TOOKNAPA | 12-02-2015 05:43 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawals - How Long For you? for me it take as they say : 5 to 7 days |
12348766754 | 12-02-2015 06:07 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawals - How Long For you? it takes on average two days to complete. |
dranzerr | 12-02-2015 11:12 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawals - How Long For you? i called up paypal earlier this morning ask a 'prospective new customer'
she informed me it could be 2 hours up to 72 hours depending if there is a large queue of people doing withdrawals...
she said it also doesnt matter if its the weekend... and there are no cut off points -
so you can do it on a sunday @ 7pm and it'll be in there same day (hopefully)
so thats good news to hear... |

Withdraws will be 72 hours nearly all the time at first and drop to instant as you earn PayPal trust.
They can just back upto 72 hours though if something on the account gets flagged |
dranzerr | 12-02-2015 11:30 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawals - How Long For you? wow that was a good clarification because i havent done a withdrawal yet -
so im looking at around tuesday/wednesday if i were to withdraw funds this friday -_-
useless paypal advisors |
JamesNorth101 | 12-02-2015 11:41 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawals - How Long For you? Withdraw 7pm on Friday would be Monday 7pm at the latest usually (sometimes there are slight delays)
72 hours is just 72 hours. Nothing to do with working days |
Dufus | 12-02-2015 11:47 AM | Re: Paypal Withdrawals - How Long For you? Fastest for me was 5 min.I'm not kidding. |

yeah ive read some peoples stories about it coming in within 1-5 mins after initiating it
but have you lot done previous withdrawals? are you established on paypal though...?
i dont want to withdraw 5,000£ and then during the withdrawal paypal reverses it and asks me 101 questions and wants me to send in docs |
JamesNorth101 | 12-02-2015 12:05 PM | Re: Paypal Withdrawals - How Long For you? £5k would be a very large withdraw.
If you try that as the first withdraw on an account you may well be asked for more information.
You need to build upto values like that over time |

i dont want to withdraw 5,000£ and then during the withdrawal paypal reverses it and asks me 101 questions and wants me to send in docs | No one makes a first withdrawal on a new account of 5k if they want it to sail through problem free, why give yourself so much hassle? And why leave the money in the account to build up even 1k never mind 5k! They will be watching how you handle withdrawals from your account, with that much money left in it, like Hawks. You are giving yourself unnecessary and avoidable problems, especially just before Christmas when they are looking for excuses to get rid of sellers and holding onto the funds from those accounts for X number of days and months and here you are with that much money in your account. |
dranzerr | 12-02-2015 12:30 PM | Re: Paypal Withdrawals - How Long For you? ok -
what if i were to buy something on ebay around 2k? |
JamesNorth101 | 12-02-2015 12:32 PM | Re: Paypal Withdrawals - How Long For you? You can still run into issues with PayPal
You need to be thinking long term here.
Build up the account over months and years, not trying to do it in a few weeks |
RosieTosie | 12-02-2015 12:39 PM | Re: Paypal Withdrawals - How Long For you? exactly as James says, you cannot open and commence selling big time on a new account over a short period of time and this close to Christmas as well. Like I said they are just looking for reasons to close down accounts, even accounts that are well established have bitten the dust. You cannot hope to make a killing on new accounts especially at this time of year. Even if you make it over the Christmas holidays with your accounts you can still lose them in the new year, take is easy with them until into 2016 and concentrate on learning about eBay and PayPal by reading up on here, learn from the mistakes of others that are described in depth in this forum. |
dan_ebay | 12-02-2015 12:56 PM | Re: Paypal Withdrawals - How Long For you? mine normally go to instant after 5-10 withdrawals, wouldn't withdraw £5000 in one go, make sure you leave a bit of money in there too.
You can start selling fast on them though, I always hit £5-1000 in the first week and only ever have problems if they go down on the first transaction which is obviously nothing to do with that |
RosieTosie | 12-02-2015 01:42 PM | Re: Paypal Withdrawals - How Long For you? You have plenty of experience behind you there dan ebay haven't you, you would not advise a complete first timer on the platform to go in with selling up to 1k in their first week of selling. You have been through all the potential pitfalls and the minefield that is eBay/PayPal especially this close to Christmas. Worth keeping in mind that complete newbies on the platforms can be reading this and because your comment sounds good to them they can then go off and make a mad dash to list 1k on their accounts in their very first week with bad results for them |

Thats why they have payment holds, to stop people not sending the item and running with their money. But you can continue listing books for £1 and waiting weeks for them to sell if you like, no skin off my nose:d |

but thanks for your 2 pence |
Re: Paypal Withdrawals - How Long For you? For me it takes 3 days - after I withdraw funds, it takes exactly 24 hours for paypal to release funds (until release it's pending) and after that 2 business days for money to reach my bank, complete transaction or whatever |
muzzie | 12-02-2015 07:41 PM | Re: Paypal Withdrawals - How Long For you? 24 h for review and 72 - 96 h to reach the card |
