Payment refunded debited bank not pp
 

I had a buyer file a complaint esculate it right away and pp sided with buyer and refunded buyer 21.00 BUT instead of taking it out of pp balance I get a Echeck debit from pp charging my bank account for this .. I know I had the funding source set for the card only but when I go back in settings it has both my stealth card on file and bank acc checked marked ...
When pp debits my bank account like this do they get to see the Real info on the bank account "? Not sure what happed here this is an older account that has never charged like this before ..:mad::mad::mad::mad:

SO your bank account is stealth ? no money there ?

Paypal won't be able to see your Bank details, so nothing to worry about there. However, since its a Stealth Bank Account and not an Account you use a Payment source, the refund won't go through, and Paypal will actually remove the Bank Account from your Paypal Account, and they will E-mail you to let you know that. But, do not panic.

Wait for that E-mail arrive. Once you have received the E-mail, Login to your Paypal Account and send the refund from your Paypal balance to that buyer. Now, do not add the Bank Account that was removed back to your Paypal Account. You will have to get a new one. There are plenty of Vendors here on Aspkin from which you can purchase a new VBA.

the payment went through paid in full no problems .. I have rechecked and found more accounts that have the bank checked marked as added funding source I know I had these unchecked don't know what changed

SO you have many bank account linked in ur paypal
why u are worrying then ?

So paypal sided with the buyer....

Then didn't take funds from your paypal balance or put your paypal balance in the negative?

They instead went into your bank account and took the money to pay the buyer back?

Did you agree to pay the buyer back and initiate the refund? Or did paypal take it on their own?

PP took it themselves without any response from me I went back to respond and says buyer esculated it then they say buyer gets a refund then took that refund from my bank NOT pp balance .. I had money in pp to cover it

Yes they actually can see the name on the account. This whole process is done without a actual paypal rep staring at your account so 99 out of 100 times your ok. Things still can happen that's why its not wise to do this often.

Its like reusing a IP, once is OK but any pattern is never a good thing.

Strange.
I've never had Paypal take money from my bank account when I've had a negative balance.

Maybe they try and my bank tells them to fuk off?
Or different laws in Canada don't allow them to?

Which bank do you use?

I use Canadian banks for my Canadian pp and I have had pp dip into my account - about 2010-2011 if I recall correctly.

they will see the account number and routing number. They won't be able to see the name and user's information
