Paypal doesn't honour fee reversals
 

Hi,

Not sure if this is happening to others or if anyone else has noticed this.

I was just carefully looking through the detailed breakdown of my paypal transactions whilst comparing with the running balance column, then I accidentally noticed that even though there would be a listing for a paypal fee reversal every now and then (for instance when I had refunded a buyer), the addition of that sum from the fee reversal would never actually show up added to the running balance!

And this wasn't a one off it was every time.

Please check your accounts with the cumulative/running balance wherever there is a paypal fee reversal and note if the money has actually really been given back to you.

Paypal takes a fee cut when there is a reversal these days. This policy came into effect (if I recall correctly) November 2014 or November 2013 actually - quite some time back.

It is really annoying but PP wants a cut on ANY money movement....payments, reversals, refunds...sick.

Yea they still want to get paid for the "work" done....

They do reverse 2.9% paypal fee,, but they don't refund the 30c transaction fee for any reason.
