That usually means they paid by e-check

Not on mine. No where does it say waiting for e check to clear, not recommended shipping and all that stuff.

Re: PayPal without holds?

is this hold for mainly EB? I am dealing with non EB payments and every single one has a 21 day hold? Any way to break this?

Re: PayPal without holds?

Notice the shipping on 12/25, on that day, I had no problem with the pay later button, but now it seems that all my accounts are doing this. So weird.

Ok, here you go:

Step 1: Notice the hour glass and the view paypal transaction button. This one I had printed out already from another mailing service and uploaded the tracking.

Step 2:

step 3

Step 4: back to square 1 again.

I know you said you didn't receive an email, but that message is received when you were paid by an eCheck, which makes sense that you are not getting the option to pay postage later, because the eCheck hasn't cleared.

Just double check if you haven't, and view the paypal transaction , do it from eBay, in your sold items list and click on paypal transaction that way it brings you directly to it, and you can see exactly what is going on, because i have had that same message with the hour glass in the past and it was due to an echeck

Also double check you entered the correct paypal email address in your listing with the hour glass, also in the past when i entered the address wrong by one letter and payment was sent i had an hour glass with the message. And when this happened I swore i never touched the address because its always their automatically but some how it was one letter off, maybe another glitch

And i know things are different today than a couple years ago, if u enter a wrong paypal it will not let u anymore, but paypal is definitely glitchy today, on 2 accounts that are under 90 days old as a seller, both are 30 days old all my transactions have been coming in as instant payments from early this morning, and im still receiving them as of a couple minutes ago

I ended up with a nice glitch

I just seen your picture, when u click view paypal transaction, do you see that payment has been made and is held, if its there, than it is not an echeck and cant be a wrong paypal email entered in your listing for payment , so u can rule both out

Re: PayPal without holds?

Ok, here, this list of transactions said it tried to charge my credit card, which was denied because it was a vanilla visa card that has been used up by now. The first transaction on Dec 25th went thru fine, I got the pay later option. When I opened the acct, there was just enough to open the ebay acct, nothing more. Now, it seems that paypal is trying to charge the credit card, this happened in more than one account, maybe 2 or 3. On a side note, yes Dmshark, I have had a couple of accounts with maybe 10-15 transactions, and it looks like the holds were lifted, and they were not that old of accounts, maybe 1 month and a half. But there were a lot of sales, maybe 20 on these accounts, and I shipped all within one day. Anyways, here is the screenshot:

Re: PayPal without holds?

When you clicked view paypal transaction from the item in the first screen shot with the hour glass, it brought you to the specific transaction, and you were able to see it was paid for ?

Re: PayPal without holds?

If the payment is there, just call paypal and let them know, i cant see why they wouldn't release some funds for shipping. Especially if its happening with multipl accounts,

Re: PayPal without holds?

Nah, none of them are e checks, I've received e checks before, this one is not one of them.
