Does Paypal See Your Account Name When It Retrieves 2 Micro Deposits? Any Workaround?
 

Paypal deposited and withdrew on the same day. I am scared of confirming it. Can anyone chime in as to whether Paypal can see your name?

Also is it possible to just add my bank account and not verify? I know unverified withdraw limit is $500. I only need to withdraw about $300 from rebate I'm about to get. If this is possible, I'd like to close my account and reopen it again under the same info and add bank without having paypal make 2 deposits. Thank you for your help.

Paypal CANNOT see the bank account name.

Only way is if YOU transfer funds from your bank to Paypal. NEVER will it show your name on paypals end if your withdrawing funds, however that may be.

I understand that. But doesn't it change based on the fact that paypal retrieved the deposits? That is going from my bank --> to Paypal. It is a withdrawal.

Actually, the past year Paypal takes back the deposits and CAN see the bank details.

No worries though. All is well in the word with this.

No they cannot see the address.
And as Yankee says - even though they can technically see the name of the account holder since funds were pulled from the bank account to the paypal account they are not doing anything with this information. For now.
I myself prefer to be more cautious about such things which is why I only use instant verification. You never know if or when paypal will change the way they do things so better safe than sorry.
