#1 Rule for Paypal

1. Never leave any money in Paypal if you are able to transfer it to a bank or to another account. I hate to see how Paypal keeps ****ing us over....

Re: #1 Rule for Paypal

I'd say never leave any more than $200. I like to leave a little to pay fees and handle any returns that may arise. I don't want paypal to ever feel the need to dip into my bank account.

For me:
1. Pay fees before withdrawing funds
2. Leave enough to cover at least 5% of possible refunds.
3. Keep the damn phone number alive in case of phone verification!

Re: #1 Rule for Paypal

I leave $1000 on higher limit accounts and anywhere from $100-$300 on lower use accounts. Enough to cover any returns, chargebacks or any other issues that might arise.

Like has been said you don't want paypal to dip into your bank account and see mismatched names. On a good strong running account that is peanuts compared to the risk of getting banned

I get my money out of all my paypals whether good standing or limited. That's one of the main reasons for having multiple accounts.

You can set up automated withdraw on PP every night full balance if you choose to go this route. You wont even need to go into PP its automated. But I still do not recommend it on stealth. If overnight a case is opened and they want to hold that money then they will dip into your bank account and then if you have mismatched names you are toast. It just doesn't seem logical to me.

I've never tried that yet, like to play it by the day and keep enough in there to cover expenses so they've never gone into my bank, I've been asked for phone verification when trying to withdraw but that's bogus, having an active phone doesn't pass their verification, I just wait a couple days and out comes the money.

I withdraw every 500 Euro. If there is a case opened, I have no problems topping the account back. But never ever I keep any significant money inside.

Re: #1 Rule for Paypal

It's pretty much a choice of waiting 180days or withdrawing the money.

To anyone wondering, this option is called "settlement withdrawal" and it is not an available feature on all Paypal accounts. It has to be a business account that moves a lot of money. I had this option show up on one of my accounts when I reached about 5k/week in withdrawals, but that's the only account I've seen this on.

Just putting that out there.. :noidea:

I never leave any money in Paypal except for about $50 or less. Paypal wont dip into the bank account unless you either lose a dispute or owe them money.

Even if i do try to withdraw my balance, they always have a way to stop me doing it. It only happens when i have more then $400-500. Hungry dooogs

But topping account back from bank account wouldn´t allow PP to see your bank account name?.
