Buying gift cards through the cashstar network doesn't work!
 

I just wanted to know I have tried multiple times to buy gift cards like from guitar center online or other places, but alot of these retail stores work through a network called cashstar and the payment will go through, but then they will tell you that they could not verify you and they will refund you. It takes over a week or two to get a refund even though I have emailed them and told them to take off the hold, but there customer service is useless. They don't know how to use a paypal account. So stay away from these networks if you don't want to waist time. Buy from independent sellers instead.

Thanks for the info astralman - looks like quite a few processors are identifying the use of gift cards these days...
