Like what?

It is just paypal on an app. Like a bank app. Check balances, withdraw, send money etc...

Re: Is there an advantage to using Paypal app?

Like lesser "you cannot send money right now" messages...

Re: Is there an advantage to using Paypal app?

No. It is still paypal and paypal securities.

Re: Is there an advantage to using Paypal app?

so those messages still apply to apps?

Re: Is there an advantage to using Paypal app?

I used the app a couple years ago on a wholesale paypal account. Basically the account collected big payments and sent funds over seas via instant bank transfer. I had many more problems with the app compared to the website. Failed payments, lots of phone call verification(bigger money transfers), but everytime compared to 1 in 5 or so using the website.

It is still paypal. It is not going to be less secure on an app. If anything it makes sense it would have m ore securities.

This thread just gave me a new idea, 10 prepaid phones with 10 eBay/PayPal apps!! each account would be isolated in the phone with unique ip and active number!

Can easily have 12 accounts on an ipad. Tricky part is printing labels but is very doable using some apps.

I think it would be more cost effective to do this than one account per phone with a data plan.

Now of course you are not going to want to use the app if you do this, but who wants to use them anyways? I hate them...and have to edit descriptions, formats on a PC anyways.

Only problem with that it's you can't load any pics since there's no flash, a windows tablet would be better.

There is a handful of us running accounts on ipads.
Mr. Shark operates almost exclusively with them.

As for pics, use a photo booth and turn your flash off. Pictures are not comparable for quality. You can buy everything you need off of ebay for less than $100.00

I've done it myself before using the switch app, only problem is I couldn't find a way to upload pics to eBay since iPad don't have adobe flash, had to upload pics on my laptop, of course you can use the app but that doesn't work with multiple accounts.

Exactly, you could also take the pics right from the phone and keep the account info in back of the case. Get a used virgin mobile phone on eBay, most people already have a data plan and a prepaid phone for each account anyway, why not just combine it all into one phone, sounds like a good deal to me

lol thats exactly what i do! Just take pics with the phone and upload with the app. I use virgin mobile pre paid its like 30bucks a month each. Pay as you go. I write the acct info on the back of each phone with a sharpie. Only bad part is people will think your a drug dealer when you have 10 working cell phones around the house all constantly chirping! I have more than 10 phones but keep it around 7 or 8 all activated at one time and a few back ups in case some go down.

Sounds like a pretty nice setup to me, I have over 10 VM phones but they're not smart phones, I do have a VM Galaxy 2 though I'm gonna start with that today.

Be careful of linking issues with mobile paypal apps. These apps will track your phone using methods not present when using a browser, such as by device UUID or your phone number reported by the phone OS.

We're talking about using a separate phone for each account so no need to worry about tracking.

Forget about switch, it was good for a while but the developer just hasn't updated it to integrate with all the great new features of IOS 9

Here is a link to a far superior user account app for IOS, i use it on my ipad Air and Air2.

iCab Mobile (Web Browser) by Alexander Clauss

Really great for stealth, so many options to configure each user account and make it unique.

Also it will work with uploading pictures, just as Safari, and integrates different Apps with the browser so u can use while you are in the browser.

PRINTER PRO APP is a must have you can print mutli labels just like your on a PC, and say u print 50 labels at once, with the ipad u can save all 50 labels as a PDF, so if one doesnt print u have a backup

Awesome! Sounds like a pretty nice set up as well , think I'll get started on both setups, iPad mini with a couple VM phones on the side, thanks for the info.
