changing address on a limited account
 

i just got an email from paypal saying that my money in my account is now able to be withdrawn.

i was wondering can i add a bank account that is already added to another account and then remove it after the money has reached my account.
And how do i request a check if i dont want to withdraw by bank?

also i can i delete the address that is already on this limited account and then maybe use it for another account later on?

paypal UK were charging at least £45 for a cheque. More stealing, imo.

Bank accounts cannot be reused.

1 bank account per PayPal, even if they are limited PayPal accounts.

Have you got a bank account already linked to the account?

You really should avoid reusing the address as well

Just because you delete it does not mean PayPal forget

i dont a linked bank account to the limited account but i have a bank that is linked to my stealth account so i was wondering if i could use this bank account to quickly withdraw the money.

if i do change my address from the stealth account to the address that is on my limited account will my stealth account get linked and be closed down?

its Not going to work & if you dont already have a bank account linked to it that you can deposit into your only option is the check... dont link other emails/banks to it.. it wont let you. and your risking other accounts getting limited... I know what its going to take to get your funds out!

Once your account is limited, there is no way for you to remove the bank if you attached it. So no point of wasting a bank on that if you don't have to.

i dont have a bank account attached to it only a visa debt card.

Unless the account was in your name you cannot ask for withdrawal by check since you wont be able to cash it.
Also, no you cannot reuse bank accounts (paypal wont let you add it) and you should NOT reuse the same address (would cause a link that would lead to limitation of the new account).

hi the paypal account is in my name so i can cash the check its just a matter of getting them to send me one

You just login and change address and they'll most likely need you to confirm it with another vcc, then click on request check.

i created a stealth account after this.

On U.S. accounts you click on the link to withdraw money to your bank then there's a link underneath that says " or request a check"

hi on my account it doesnt say that all i see is to add a bank account and thats it

but i spoke to paypal on facebook and they said i could request the money to be sent to a family or friends paypal account if thats the case could i get them to send it to my stealth account that i have

if i do that will it cause any problem to my stealth account as i dont want to get this limited and closed down.

yeah if you feel confident enough you can call them up and have them send it to another paypal. keep in mind that you will somehow be linking the two.

Well yes if you do that you are basically telling PayPal the link for them without them having to do any linking themselves.

While it may be fine, it does put the account receiving the money under the microscope a bit as well

Sending money from a limited account to a working account is not a good idea at all. It creates a link. If the accounts have any similarities (shared ip, cookies, etc) then you can expect the worst to happen.

As far as I know you can not request a cheque in the UK.

You can add a bank account still. You may need to do it over the phone though

Well, paypal told you they can issue you a cheque, rereading the thread greenbean confirms they do offer this option but charge for it.

So, if you want a cheque, call them up and request one.

alright i think i will call them up tomorrow and ask them about the cheque

also if i call them up add the bank account and withdraw the money then can i remove the account afterwards?
