It's one of the following:
1. You are moving the money too fast...
2. Paypal doesn't trust you to move money fast...
3. Make sure you items is shipped and tracked...
4. Your account is less than 90days old and not enough selling history...

Re: What triggers this PayPal message?

There could be a hold on your money that is not obviously stated - why don't you trying first withdrawing to bank?

Are you receiving money from sales or services?

Read all over the forum.... Others have much the same issues.

Basically, your account has little to no trust with paypal.

I have to say again.... paypal prefer to see a verified & confirmed account for business. You need their trust.

But read what the OP said....

He wants to send the funds as gifts/services to family/friends.

paypal will not like that. They know now he is trying to bypass their system.

:noidea:

Re: What triggers this PayPal message?

The money is not 90 days old. It is 21 days old. The account is 30 days old. I was trying to send over $100 and just received my funds for 1-2 days.

I don't want to withdraw to my bank because I want to make more money with the money I have.

So I am on a budget then. I'll do smaller amounts.

I have the same issue. I got a little scare thinking they were going to limit me, but it seems like they're just making sure that all of my customers receive their items with no issues. Add tracking to paypal and whatever other site you're using to maybe help!

If the OP asks about sending money to framily/friends as gifts/services how is adding tracking going to help?

He is using a different method to get his own funds.

Possibly - only PP truly knows.

Not a budget but rather watched until you prove your account.

:)

I'll keep the money in their system for 3 weeks for them to trust me.

May not be enough. Can take longer for the trust to be established.

What most of us do is leave enough for a certain amoount of refunds plus fees.

Hope that helps.

I have been getting similar sh*t in a few accounts...called in to paypal 4 times, spending nearly an hour on the phone each time and they "dont know" anything. BUT i can withdraw to bank just fine. Just cant send ANY money, even as goods/services. Cant even pay for something on ebay for 75 cents.

eBay and PayPal employees don't know ****. I know more about their product than they do.

Only their bots knows.

I have come to this conclusion long ago. Most times its useless to try and talk to them or explain whats going on.

As a personal note, I leave 3-4x the average sales amount in PP as "fuel"

it will work 90% of the time, unless your account is flagged.

edit. p.s
i'm not saying it should be a daily habit or stealth at all, i'm just giving you an option if you're trying to forcefully send money.

Re: What triggers this PayPal message?

I'm still not entirely sure what causes this pesky error. Some say it's a common side effect of using prepaid cards, others say it's due to too much action with your Paypal (moving money/chargebacks). Regardless, these solutions should help you resolve it.

If you have the option, send from a mobile application. This works for me 100% of the time. If not, then read on.
Clear your history/cache + Delete cookies then close your browser.
Send in smaller amounts [if necessary].
If you have ANY cards on your account, remove them and then add them back. Try to send again.
Get the person your sending funds to, to send you an invoice.
try sending with a different web browser (Ex: If you're using Google Chrome, Use Firefox)

Bad advice, this will just create more suspicious activity... just wait and try again in 3days.

Re: What triggers this PayPal message?

I have used this multiple times. But yeah, also forgot to mention that waiting will help as well...

I don't know if i said this already but i ended up being 180 day hold. paypal suck.

they don't suck you need to slow down on whatever you're trying to do, seems like you're trying to get over on paypal.

No, they DO suck. But his advice is still right. Slow down.

Re: What triggers this PayPal message?

Was thinking about how to overcome these problems..

Looks pretty hopeless, but I thought I'd ask..
Have people been able to withdraw to their bank on file, even while getting this message?
Does it lead to limitation while under these restrictions, or all goes through peachy?

I might open up BoA again..

Re: What triggers this PayPal message?

^^Withdrawing to a bank usually doesn't create problems. The error message pops up when you try to send money to another paypal, or add a new bank. If you already have a bank attached, you should be able to withdraw without any problems.

It only creates problems when you send money too fast, if the money is from a service transaction. If you send as gift to another gift transaction, then i think its fine.

I had never had problems with gift to gift transactions.

phaz0rz 01-24-2016 03:39 PM

Re: What triggers this PayPal message?

Yeah but, no offense, you also have a lot of limited accounts. Paypal hates gift payments because they don't get a cut. The one or two times I've sent money between accounts I've done it via invoicing, so Paypal profits.

Regardless, PTXC sounds like he/she already has a bank attached and is scared to try withdrawing.

All those limited accounts was from ebay and through ebay transactions...
or through a service transaction related to ebay.

That's an annoying generic message because you're trying to send money too fast that you have received.

What about that supposed one dollar gift you sent to yourself?

A story or a fact?
