New PP account already limited?
 

Hey guys,
I just logged into one of my new PP accounts and noticed this warning. I have not used this account on ebay, just had the VCC and Bank accounts confirmed today.

I used a VCC from a vendor here to verify the account, and my own real bank account. Is this account toast at this point? I noticed the currency of the VCC was EURO but I'm in the US. Would that be the reason?

Would this limit be removed if I add a different US based card?

Did you link and verify bank first if so that is why.

The Euro deposits will not cause us paypal accounts to get limited.

You were sold a bad VCC.....

I linked the VCC first when creating the account, then linked and confirmed the Bank account via small deposits, then did the 4 digit code from the VCC. As soon as I entered the 4 digit code, the limitation came up.

Note that I have another account setup exactly the same way, with a VCC from the same seller with no issue so far.

Can I remove that card and add a new one, and get the limitation lifted? Or at this point just forget this account?

Sounds odd, maybe try getting the vcc added and the micro codes added before messing with the bank.

Looks like I can't remove the card, but it says I can add a new one. Is it worth it, or just forget this account?

It's worth at least trying. No need to burn a good bank account if you don't have to..

Paypal will not lift the limitation on your account just from removing the card. You will need to provide documents to lift the limitation or just through the account away.

Yup, looks like the account is toast. Not buying anymore VCCs. Prepaid Vanilla Visa cards seems to be the way to go.
