Adding Bank Account Capt 1
 

hey guys Ive been trying to add my bank account to paypal a Capital One account Brand New and I keep getting this error message "An unknown service error occurred" has anyone had this problem.. or what should i do for it?

I think everyone has the same problem. Let it stay there for 2 days, go back to try again. If it fails, let it stay there for another 3 days, go back there again. Sooner or later you will pass, but don't go back there again everyday.

^no, that's not it. Capital one is blacklisted. OP, you will never be able to add that bank. You need a new bank.

oh thats just FREAKIN GR8 :mad2::mad2::mad2: & they still have capt 1 as an option when they ask to add your bank account.. Of Course Freakin Paypal Ugh!

You're welcome. I hate to be the bearer of bad news. Cap 360 issues have been discussed extensively on this forum.

Completely not true. There are ways to add Capone360 accounts. It works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. The only 100% to add it is to call and answer security questions, but being it is most likely a stealth account, that's not going to work.

I've had the same problem.

I chose Capital one 360 because it was recommend in the stealth book.

I tried last week and again today.

Same message. " An unknown service error occurred."

I was able to register the debit card with no problem, but not the bank account.

Has anyone had RECENT success adding a Capital One 360 account?

As I said, there are "tricks" that you can get it to work, it just really depends.

With it being as easy as it is to open bank accounts, I prefer using a bank paypal is comfortable with rather than a bank I have to trick them into accepting. You never know what kind of complications will result over time if you "trick" them into accepting your bank, haha.

I am kind of curious as to why Capital One is still listed in Paypal's "instant verification" banks, if it's next to impossible to use a Capital One account.

Well im still waiting for the 2 micro deposits to come in & to see if the account gets limited after i confirm it.. but as of now im excited Because if this works smoothly ... OH BOY:humble:

@ XTC4ME - i would still give it a try... if you see the same potential in Capital one as i do... you can take everyones word but youll never know for sure unless you try!!!

But all i did was Change the Routing number (i found a different rounting nubmer to the same bank). Paypal can tell if the account is an online account by the routing number. so i changed the routing number and now awaiting the micro deposits and to see if it gets limited soon after.. keeping my fingers crossed ill report back in 2-3 days let you know how things are going!

I didn't register my Capital One 360 account with paypal because I kept getting error messages. So I used another account.

If I open up another stealth account, since I haven't technically used this Capital One account yet, could I still use it, or do they have it on file even though it didn't go through?

Chances are it might be on file.

Be careful about how you proceed.

so did you got 2 micro deposit from paypal ? if yes what routing worked , I tried but seem dont see any deposit .., the current cap routing is locked by pp .

I have a 360 bank account. Had to call in and answer a few questions. They added it for me.

Capital One Meta bank sometime work sometime not work maybe depen on ur lucky haha.
