What info from IDs, PP is keeping ?
 

Recently,i am wondering what part from the IDs, that PP are collecting from us, is kept in their data base ?
Photos from ID ? ID number, etc. ?

From my experience in the past, they was saving the hole ID and somehow, they were matching the photo from the ID, regardless what exact number is the card and DOB.
But, one of my accounts were suspended and permanently limited. When i talked with some of the reps, he told me that the problem is in the ID card, because they searched the official register of valid ID numbers in my country and the document is with invalid number. New thing to me.

What part? everything.....assume they save everything. They have more storage space than most Countries have total.

Ok, but for exmaple i will create 2 IDs with diff picture and names, but same DOB and number. How they will match that they are same ?

Well.....no one here works for Ebay or PayPal that we know of......so to be on the safe side, just assume they can...otherwise were gonna be here "speculating" on how or what if, or can they.

Why risk using the same DOB if you are worried about them matching a DOB, IMO they couldnt match them im sure millions of people have the same DOB, so surely that would be impossible to match people that way.

You stated in your original post that paypal is able to check the authenticity of the documentation you provide by cross referencing your country's database. If that's really the case, then it would be impossible for you to fool them with a f-ake ID, right?

They keep a record of all documentation submitted to them. How could you submit the same number if that number is already associated with an account?

Their detecting methods are set up to check such entries out....
