eBay account shut down 2 hours after sale- Will Paypal release funds?
 

I was experimenting with a linked account. I wanted to see how soon it gets shut down..I am not crazy, just tried for kicks.
I sold a VeRO item this afternoon and buyer paid through Paypal that still has a 21-day hold on it. Approx. 2 hours after the transaction the eBay account was shut down. I am not surprised, took them 1 week.
My Question: will Paypal release the funds or should I just issue a refund to the buyer? Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

If you ship the item and provide the shipping the buyer might no open a case and the funds will release 21 days after payment was received. As long as your paypal is not limited in that case 180days

On the other hand now that the ebay account is suspended and the buyer most likely knows about this it would be a very simple thing for him to open a dispute that you are already at a disadvantage fighting.
I would refund the payment. Not worth the risk.

Slokor, thanks for the input, I am thinking the same....It was a $100 item, and I am thinking I am better off refunding it...
