adding funds to paypal account
 

I sold an item and shipped it to the buyers address. Buyer filed a claim on paypal for item not received. Entirely my fault. It will put my account in the negatives (about -50 dollars)

I know I am not suppose to add funds from my bank account that is linked to the paypal account as the names dont match.


How do I add funds to get out of the negative balance?


Living in America but I am international for the next 3 months so that may make things tricky.

Buy a VCC, add it to PP and fund through this route

or sell something on ebay to fund the account.

Cannot add funds directly to the PayPal using a VCC

If they refund the payment though you can then top up the PayPal using a VCC

You could also send the buyer funds via a VCC on PayPal and the rest as a PayPal refund

Best solution though is to sell items to get the money into PayPal

Use a Paypal MyCash card. You can buy it at any CVS Pharmacy and other retailers, then load whatever amount you want on it, up to $500. Then you use the code on the card to load the money into your Paypal account.

When your account is negative they do allow you to use a VCC to fund the account.

I just needed to do this on a paypal account recently, i was thinking the same thing, it might be something new , but its only if the account is in the red,

If you can sell an item at a discounted price, hopefully the money will clear in time.
