Can I use a generated VCC from my citi acct to verify a stealth PayPal.

Im assuming no unless my stealth account and credit card that I'm using to generate the VCC have the same address OR then it WONT pass AVS?

No mis-match names in my case as a fyi..

Pretty sure the VCC is using your address but it's worth a shot...give it a try and report back.

has same address. no different from reporting your card stolen and getting a new card number. both same address.

It won't pass the AVS. Plus, maybe PayPal won't accept that card.

Thanks everyone .. I don't want to risk trying it out.. I think Ill stick to using a VGC which (correct me if I am wrong) by default bypasses PayPal's AVS check?

Follow up question, do I need to call and add my zip code (the zip should match stealth accts zip code) to the VGC? I feel like I read that somewhere on here....

I generated one from citi and tried it on paypal, they didn't take it, then I YOLO'd it and changed my residential address on my citi account to the stealth address, and they took it no problem.

So it seems to work, the question I have with this method though is how anal can credit card companies be when you changes your residential address every few days?

Those don't work with different addresses. It has to match your billing zip, city and state on the account.

They can be useful for other purposes with them.

Right but you can easily change that information with your online citi acc, add your virtual card/verify it with paypal, then change it back to your real address, that's what I did last night with success.

The only thing I'm not sure about is how sketchy this looks to citi, changing address back and forth ect.

Probably not ideal but hey, 100% free AVS card for verification
