How far would paypal go if....... ???
 

Hi,

I want to know how Paypal behaves when they can't chargeback your money due to inssuficient funds.

Example:

1- you receive 800$ in your PP and take it out immediately
2- afterwards a buyer falsely fills in a dispute and PP favors them - PP then tries to debit you -800$
3- your account was $0 so they try busting your CC - your CC is a VCC and they get nothing

OK they *ONLY* have the IP you used to log to their site - no other info of you is legit


HOW FAR WILL THEY GO ?

A- are they known to contact ISPs to get info on people based on "date:hour/IP" ??
B- are they known to issue legal action to persons to whom they can not debit a money from a dispute?
C- in case the money initially was transferred to other PP account are they known to freeze or substract the funds of the receiving PP account?

As far as I have heard, they just send your account to collections. They will try calling and will keep sending letters to collect the debt.

Yes, they did the above to me when a relative of mine screwed up and left a negative balance on his account.

They limited my account even tho I had a spotless record up until that point and they told me they linked us because our accounts had sent and received money from each other at one point and the last names and our zip codes were the same. Imagine that!

They may also check IP's but definitely if you've had transactions with any other PP acct that looks related to yours, they will limit that acct too.
