How many pay*pal accounts can I have at once?
 

I currently have 2 paypal accounts that are in my name etc. that I have used for e bay, etc. They both have my ss number attached as they are used for my business. I wanted to set one up to use just for family/friends that isn't subject to disputes, etc. because there won't be purchases from my business there. How many will paypal let you set up, does anyone know?

It's written somewhere in their Terms and Conditions page. I am not a fan of setting up multiple pp's in the same info...link is caused and you're putting all your eggs in one basket.

When I had multiple Paypal accounts they closed down all accounts except for one personal account and one business account. So I suppose you can keep one of both.

you want to create on new unique ip with some name change
my sugestion is that dont risk your aged account because of personal account ...

if you use the same details they are all in effect linked.. looking at your idea though seems good to have the 2

PayPal allows one personal account and one business account. Stealth allows unlimited accounts.

One personal and one business per set of ID.

you can have as many as you like, you're supposed to phone them and check with them first.
They'll obviously be linked though so if 1 has problems they'll likely all have problems

i notice you want to set one up for family and friends, i know there is a gift option but paypal does not like it as much when you send or receive alot of gifts, even thought its part of their system
so the new account could cause problems for your business accounts
