US Paypal accounts now asking for... credit checks?
 

I have a US business account using a EIN... I got a big payment this month... and now Paypal is limiting the account until they can do credit check? WTF?

I havent opened any credit cards/loans under my business name... so, Im wondering what credit there is for them to check. Im still using Canadian Paypal accounts as well... and for all those Canadian account owners out there, just wondering if I should expect the same thing to happen.

If you have no credit, do not worry. They are more worried with people with bad credit.

The real issue is NO-ONE can pass a credit check on a Stealth Account.

The first issue is that the OP accepted a LARGE amount of money and did not advise paypal. Does not matter what type of account but if there is going to be a lot of money
coming into a paypal account strike first. Tell them. It's your money, handle it correctly.

Telling them wont make any differnce.

james, yes it can. Agreed not 100% guaranteed but something to consider & has worked
for me.
