Vanilla visa is dead!!!
 

I tried to add a VANILLA VISA GIFT CARD to my paypal account and it was REJECTED..... I've been using VANILLA for 4 years now....what happened??

There was another thread about someone who encountered a similar issue.
Not sure that means its dead. Might be that specific range.
Has anyone else had issues trying to use a Vanilla card?

USE VANILLA MASTERCARDS.. NEVER a hassle NEVER have to register it online like the vanilla visa

This is what you Need buy this one from walmart ($20-$500) you WILL NEVER HAVE A PROBLEM NEVER HAVE TO REGISTER!!!
(no cash on them) i can do this ALL Day.. I write nicknames on them to keep track of whats been used

Damn Nyco, you've spend thousands on vanilla gift cards? I've never used the gift cards with set amounts, I always just load $20 on the "any amount" cards.

Haha no only a $100 or so they cost like $3-$5ea.. the old way i use to cash out buy cards from Walmart.com ive had so many then i realized i could recycle them as debit cards when making a new stealth paypal ahhh.. but its an old way that doesnt work any more

Vanilla VISA / Mastercard - these need to be registered in the
stealth info via www.myvanillaprepaid.com or www.gospendit.co.uk
depends where you buy them.

If that's the site you've been registering cards at, you're using the wrong card. :noidea:

The correct site is onevanilla.com, but I don't think anyone asked about that.

yea, i had the same problem. you have to get the onevanilla.com where you just put in your card # and check your balance. Don't get the ones that you have to register, they don't work. This is probably the one the Op was using I imagine.

appear with "Edit card" and "Confirm card" boxes -
confirming the card will put the charge on it

Title is Vanilla VCC, Description is Entropay, with so much mess im starting to think the OP had a messy stealth setup :o

Usually, if you use a VCC + stealth details and then make a risky move, you are more prone to losing the account.

Entropay does not work with US PayPal, it is a known fact.

Vanilla Visa and Entropay are 2 different things....Entropay is not reliable for US PayPal. Vanilla Visa does work fine.

I don't know about the Vanilla visa gift cards. I use the Vanilla prepaid VISA or Mastercards with no problems.

I have a question on Vanilla gift cards..

Can you buy stuff on amazon.com with vanilla gift cards? I was thinking of getting one for mother's day but stopped because I've heard nothing but bad things about vanilla. Then I tried buying visa gift cards from giftcardmall dot com but they keep declining my payment.. Never knew it was this difficult to buy a visa gift card online.

It is difficult to buy them online because many stealth account operators use gift cards to cash out their Paypal accounts.

But if you were to purchase one at Walmart, it would be a great way to make online purchases.

Do you know if buying at places like Walmart requires activation that asks for lots of personal info like SS#, name, address, phone, name of your pet, being sarcastic with that last one. But I would prefer a more anonymous gift card that doesn't ask for so much personal info.

If you buy the prepaid type (NOT THE RE-LOADABLE TYPE), you don't provide any personal info upon activation.

With prepaid vanilla visa's you simply give the zip code of where you intend to use the card primarily. But you don't even have to do that. You can spend the money on the card as soon as you pay for it.

Just got decline for a $500 gift card from both giftcardmall and giftcardlab and I have no idea why because they will not give a reason. Just the same auto message:

To put this very simply. You are buying money with money. Almost like a different currency. The people doing the exchange WILL do extensive security checks. They will not want to risk being defrauded. This method will NOT work, especially when amounts go above $20 or so, as companies are not will to take the risk.

Could possibly be you're not getting ones with a further expiration date..
