Where do you see anyone selling EIN verified business Paypal accounts?

I'm not aware of any US account sellers that sell business accounts.

I think you would need to purchase a personal one and upgrade it to business using your EIN.

OP - the standard procedure around here for obtaining a USA "stealth" business account is to purchase/create a personal stealth Paypal and then upgrade to a business account. In my opinion it's easier this way than trying to start a business account from scratch, although this is also possible.

Its because you will need to register the EIN with real info. Unless you have a seller willing to help work with you through the steps, at a expense I'm sure, its not likely... Plus do you want all that personal info out there?

Sure, if you use the same EIN on multiple Paypals. Otherwise, no.

You sign up for the EIN with your real info since it's breaking the law to do otherwise. The IRS issues you an EIN for the business name you've specified. When you go to upgrade your stealth Paypal to a business account you give them your BUSINESS NAME + EIN. Paypal has no way of knowing who registered the EIN, because the IRS does not share any info with Paypal. Paypal simply checks to make sure the EIN and business exist in IRS databases.

Very true - becomes too personal to the seller...unless fraudelent ein is acquired...which is dangerous

Just use a real EIN. All the cool kids are doing it. In my state it's like $150 bucks.

You got ripped off if you paid for an EIN, LOL. There are countless "businesses" online who claim to work with the IRS to get you an EIN for a fee. When in reality you submit your information to them and they turn around and submit your info on the IRS website, where anyone can get an EIN for free.

I think you's been swindled :heh:

The part that isn't free is registering your business with your state by filing Articles of Incorporation. But you aren't required to already be registered with your state to get an EIN for a business.
