Do the names have to match on eBay and PayPal
 
do the names on the eBay account and PayPal have to match. I got another account number from my bank can they link it

Your Ebay and PayPal SHOULD have matching information. Just so you know, PayPal CAN'T see the name on the bank account you plan to attach to it.

Yes, they have to match. Bit strange if your selling on eBay in the name of mr Richards but receiving payment in a name of mr Simpson.

Always think of ebay/paypal as real stores.

Would you walk into a store, introduce yourself as "Mr. Smith" then pay with a credit card that says "Mrs. Horace"?
